NAKAURAYA

Traditional local sweets in Wajima, Maru-yubeshi is made from “Yuzu” - aromatic citrus fruit. It takes about 4 months to make it, scooping out the inside of Yuzu, filling it with special rice cake, and steaming and drying them many times. You can enjoy the thinly-sliced glossy brown Maru-yubeshi as a teacake or with brandy.
