"Hokuriku Shinkansen Line" is scheduled to be open by the end of fiscal 2014
Hokuriku Shinkansen Line is expected to cut travel time between Kanazawa (Ishikawa) and Tokyo from "3 hours and 47 minutes" to "2 hours and 47 minutes".
This is about the same travel time between Tokyo and Kyoto.
So far, the airplane is the fastest form of transportation from Tokyo to Kanazawa (Ishikawa) .However, "Hokuriku Shinkansen Line" is carrying the passengers about the same time, it will give you more choices to enjoy travelling. It is available to transfer by the direct train from Narita Airport, where customers from foreign countries are used most, to Tokyo station.
